new necklaces in the striped color bar design.
sterling & plastic from a green lego
A N N O U N C I N G multi-colors...
i am generally, on most accounts, resistant to multiple colors in my work within the same piece. But when this expanded version of the color bar pendant came to mind i couldn't resist the experiment. i think since the metal work is simple and the glass is sleek....well, something about it works for me. so, i'm excited to expand and explore and new line of multi-colored striped pendants. i think these would be great vertical as well. more to come!!
new series of necklaces inspired by texture and simplicity.
agate drusy and sterling
coral from miami, fl and sterling
sterling and polymer clay
i have one more on the bench (a black piece) that's part of this series. it's almost finished. i'll post it in a bit!!
i am really loving this one. the texture on this piece is incredible. i hit the jackpot when i found this stone...it's the back side of a chalcedony rosette. sometime the back is more rad than the front. in this case, it happens to be true. YES!!!
hope you like....i'm scavenging for more stones that seem fitting for this sort of minimal texture inspired designs....i may even bust out with a few smooth'ees.
i'm excited to be finishing an order for the southwest school of art. i hope to ship it out tomorrow. if you live in san antonio or the surrounding area go check out their amazing quirky gallery.
the finished wedding ring set pictured in the previous entry.
new wedding rings: sterling, ethically sourced diamonds
2mm white diamond & 1.5 mm black diamond..the black diamond is unbelievably tiny, i love it!!
these will both be oxidized before they are finished.
thanks to nick and kristen for the order. nicks ring and wedding band set coming soon...
CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU BOTH!!
special commission ring made with an repurposed pearl and an opal. it's been a really long time since i've made a double stone ring...i think it's time to bring in back in the mix.
wedding band duo of 14k white gold, repurposed diamond (2mm) & green amethyst (4mm). i have been so psyched to make more of these simple and sleek fancy rings every since i made the yellow gold black diamond one for my good friend katy. she started this whole sparkly madness. i am holding out for a lot of ethically mined rose cut diamonds to make things and experiment with. a possible bit of more sparkly things to come, if your into that sort of thing :O)
a new piece of hemimorphite in a single pendant necklace. i'm quite pleased with the texture of the stone and the deep turquoise color!

color bar pendant in electric raspberry
&
candy stick earrings in magenta
made with sterling, found coral, and chalcedony rosette
in a snowy white hue.
new color option!!
