this ring is made to order. the original ring pictured was made as a mother's ring.

-the large stone is a green tourmaline (5.5mm x 6.5mm)....the color was symbolic of the daughter's name. this stone is a wonderful olive moss green color.
-the tiny stone is a dark opaque sapphire (2mm)....both mother and daughter's birthstone.

**the metal for this ring is oxidized sterling silver. the oxidation will wear with time and will become burnished over time and the oxidation will lessen....especially in the high relief/smooth areas. this is the evolution of oxidized sterling. it will take on it's own natural surface as time goes by. this can be faster process for some people depending on body chemistry. if you do not enjoy the process of how oxidized sterling wears and burnishes over time please do not order this ring in oxidized sterling**

this style could also be as an engagement ring, birthstone ring, family ring (with the addition of other tiny stones too), anniversary ring. the last picture was made as an engagement ring.
