i had to show an image of how one of my customers packaged & presented their special order ring to his girlfriend…..(this is the same ring pictured a few posts ago). love it!!!
this ring was made for carling hale…she is an incredible photography….you can see some of her work and unique perspective on her flickr page, myguerrilla i have her postcard from her graduating show hanging above my bench in the studio.

here is a new necklace i made for my friend susan who is going to compete in the national asana yoga championship in l.a. this weekend. susan was the texas women’s champion in 2008 and 2009. she teaches bikram yoga classes here in austin at yogagroove if you would like to take her class. susan was one of my very first teachers and she’s one of the nicest, most caring people you would ever wanna meet AND her classes are awesome.
here’s a few video clips of a bikram yoga class here, here, here & here.
best of luck susan…i’m sending you happy thoughts and bulldog determination.

special order commission ring made with sterling and vintage glass

i found this performance company, browsing on flickr, with a truly unique perspective on dance, theater and circus. they call themselves strange fruit. i love the thought of the candy colored costumes dramatically “floating” and swaying in the air.
